Desmond

My name is Desmond and I am a dedicated person centred counsellor. I obtained a B.Sc. (Honours) Degree in Psychology at Brunel University in 1998 and initially worked in IT for 17 years before returning to the psychotherapeutic sector to work as a Specialist Bereavement Counsellor at Whipps Cross Hospital.

For the last five I have held my own private practice whilst working as a Student Counsellor at Newham Sixth Form College.

For the last year I have offered short term therapy for an Employee Assistance Program organisation and spent 2 years as an executive member of the BACP Universities & Colleges division Special Interest Group providing Colleges guidance and consultative support on working practices in the FE sector.

I currently offer counselling and psychotherapy to all ages and pride myself on the diverse nature of my current client base
